One-Off Event Volunteer (The Art of Wishes Gala 2023 - Preview Reception)
More than 60,000 children in the UK have been diagnosed with a critical condition, changing their lives and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end, with treatment, hospital appointments and sleepless nights taking over. The power of a wish revives a childhood stolen by critical illness. It brings light and joy to children and their loved ones and leaves a profound and lasting impact on all their lives. But we can’t be that light for everyone. Together, we have the power to #LightUpTheDarkness.
What will I be doing?
The return of Art of Wishes promises to be a spectacular evening celebrating the collaboration of artworld and life-changing wishes.
A week prior to the event we are having a preview champagne reception at Christie’s to exhibit the art that will be auctioned at the event on Monday 9th. Guests will enjoy champagne and canapes whilst they view the donated art pieces at Christie’s on the evening of Tuesday 3rd October. The art will then be on view in Christie’s for the remainder of the week for the public to view.
We are seeking confident and enthusiastic individuals to support this reception and preview. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in supporting a wonderful cause and for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced event.
